Vice President,
Strategic Planning

Greenberg, Inc. is seeking an innovative hands-on leader to join our team as Vice President of Strategy and boost business growth by cultivating existing client relationships and developing new ones. As a senior Greenberg team member, you will bring forward innovative ideas that further our approach, and lead operational elements of project execution.  The ideal candidate should demonstrate a proven record of knowledge of and passion for the following: relationship building and management, market research skill, strategic vision, creativity, drive/sense of accomplishment and the power of persuasion.

Primary Responsibilities

Client leadership: Developing business; cultivating and deepening client relationships; linking multiple client projects to identify trends; managing client teams, developing and managing account plans; holding a significant revenue portfolio and authoring compelling proposals.

Project leadership: Directing teams; identifying opportunities for expanding work; ensuring project profitability; working with teams on research design, analysis and insight generation for final deliverables; leading client presentations and presenting data in a way that is strategic, clear, concise, visually compelling, and solution oriented.

Team leadership: Coaching, mentoring and optimizing performance of client teams.

Travel: You should be open to significant regional, and occasional global travel, and flexible in accommodating frequent changes to travel arrangements and work schedule.

Desired Skills and Experience

Bachelor’s degree required.

Minimum 10 years related work experience in market research or in an industry adjacent to, or within proximity, such as marketing, advertising planning, brand strategy. Your background should include exposure to both qualitative and quantitative research methods, including experience in communications, creative and copy development, brand positioning/strategy, segmentation, etc. Experience collaborating with graphic design teams to bring insights and data to life, is an advantage.

Team player, ready to engage creatively in a collaborative and forward-thinking strategic research agency, and an enthusiast for making research impact our clients’ business and helping them make better decisions.

Self-starter, thrives in dynamic and fast paced environments with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects.

Excellent business writing, communication, organizational and presentation skills

Ability to work independently, while being open to direction and guidance.
